2020 was a year of monumental change for everyone. For Jared, lockdown inspired him to focus on growing produce and learning about regenerative farming practices. He revived the 50’ x 90’ family garden and from that plot he grew enough food to supply family and friends all season long. After that, there was no looking back.

Summer Kitchen Farm opened its doors shortly after to provide the Lehigh Valley with fresh produce grown using chemical-free, organic practices. We are focused on improving Pennsylvania food access and soil health at the same time, while strengthening our bonds with the community we serve.
